Find me on:

I was working to reset one of our Polycom 335 phones and thought I would write a quick blog on how to Factory reset your Polycom 335.

Our lines are POE (power over ethernet) so make sure your lines are POE, otherwise you will need to plug in an AC power adapter before your Polycom 335 factory reset.

Step 1

Once the boot menu starts up, press and hold 1, 3, 5 and 7 at the same time. Your Polycom 335 will now ask you to enter a password

Step 2

Enter the Polycom 335 serial number, located on the back of the phone as the password.

Step 3

Your Polycom 335 factory reset should now be complete. Now depending on your phone provider is how your phone needs to be provisioned. The admin password is typicaly 123 or 456. If your phone doesn't boot up like normal and gives you any error messages, you will need to reach out to your Polycom re-seller or Polycoms support team directly.

Conclusion

There you have it, this is what I did with my Polycom 335 factory reset and I then followed the instructions from our RingCentral phone system and my new phone is now installed.
