To me, it makes no sense to toss out a perfectly good headset that just needs a battery replaced, but that’s what you’re instructed to do.
It is possible to replace the battery, but it’s not practical for most people because it requires tools such as a heat gun, soldering equipment, access to the exact replacement battery and more. Multiple steps and a technical exercise for sure.
